North Hills Soccer Club Equipment Exchange Program
Last updated 2/22/2012
NHSC is reviving the Equipment Exchange Program! We are collecting working equipment, everything from shoes (indoor or outdoor) and shirts to cones and clipboards (the only equipment we do not accept are foam backed shinguards). In turn, we will make them available for the next generation of players and coaches.
No donation of equipment is required to pick up needed items.
For the spring 2012 season, the Club will have the Equipment Exchange table set up at Reis Run Soccer Complex at the following times for the collection of donated items and for families that want to pick up equipment.
Saturday, March 24th, 2012 from 10:00am to 12:00pm
Saturday, March 31st, 2012 from 10:00am to 12:00pm
North Hills Soccer Club U9/U10 Player Evaluations Spring 2012 Season
Last updated 2/20/2012
The North Hills Soccer Club will be holding Player Evaluations for
U9 and U10 players registered for the spring 2012 session.
The North
Hills Soccer Club believes that it is in the best interests of our players to
place them on teams that will provide them with an appropriate level of
challenge. These evaluations will apply to all children born
between August 1, 2001 and July 31, 2003.
- The evaluation process is intended to provide a fair and
impartial assessment of a player’s total soccer skills during the scheduled
sessions. This will ensure that players have an opportunity to be on a team
that is appropriate for their skill level as determined during the
evaluations.
- The Player Evaluations will be conducted over more
than one session to ensure that each child has an opportunity to be properly
evaluated.
- The Player Evaluations will be performed by a third party
who is not a coach or parent of any of the children being evaluated. The
Player Evaluations will be conducted by Jerry Concannon, who currently oversees
the club’s Little Kicker development program.
- Evaluations will be documented and remain
confidential. Individual evaluations will not be released, as the purpose
of the evaluations is for the formation of teams in the spring soccer season.
The evaluation sheets will only be made available to the Director of Coaching,
the Director of Player Development and the Commissioners for the respective age
groups.
- Any injury or illness which prevents a player from
competing in the evaluations will be dealt with on a case by case basis.
The Player Evaluations will be held during February
2012. Registered players will be contacted regarding the times and
locations for evaluations once the number of players registered for the spring
session are available. Please register your child as soon as possible
to ensure that they are included in this evaluation process. Click here
