Volunteering with the North Hills Soccer Club

The North Hills Soccer Club is a volunteer organization. Volunteers are essential to the continuous improvement and long term success of the North Hills Soccer Club.  In an effort to get parents more involved with our organization, we ask that they volunteer for at least one Club related activity.

Parents can sign up for and participate in one or more of the following Club related activities.

Coaching  The Club is always interested in developing parent’s interest in coaching.  Prior experience playing soccer is helpful but not essential.  Our Director of Coaching offers ongoing training to all of our Youth Coaches to ensure that the children are properly instructed.  For additional information contact our Director of Coaching.

Concession Stand  The Club operates the concession stand at the Reis Run Complex each weekend of the soccer season.  Each family is asked to work a single one hour shift in exchange for a $20 refund on their registration fees.  For additional information click here

Field Prep  The North Hills Soccer Club is responsible for painting the lines on the fields and maintaining them throughout the season.  For additional information contact our Volunteer Coordinator.

Cleanup Days  At the beginning and end of each season, the members of our Club gather at Reis Run to clean up the field, erect or take down soccer goals, clean the concession stand and locker rooms, and perform basic maintenance on the fields and parking lot.  An email with information on upcoming Cleanup events are sent to the entire club before the begining and end of each season with dates and times.  Parents who are eager to signup and wnat to make sure they are a part of the Cleanup can contact our Volunteer Coordinator.

Fundraising  The Club is always open to help in fundraising for the improvement and expansion of our organization.  For additional information on fundraising contact our Fundraising Coordinator.

Board Members  The Club is always happy to encourage any interest parents might have in joining the Board of Directors.  The Club is always looking for parents that want to make a positive contribution to the future of our Club.  For a listing of open Board Positions click here.  If you do not see a position that is currently open, please do not hesitate to contact any of our Board members to discuss other opportunities that we might have available.
